Adding your own fields: tags, ideas and strategies

A tag is a word or two on a review, such as Opening drive, Pullback or A+ setup. The field suggests your own tags, most used first, under "Yours", and starters you have not used under "Common". Names match regardless of case, so pullback and Pullback are one tag. Tags are saved with the review, and a trade without a review has no tags. There is no page to rename or merge tags.

Where tags show: the Tags column on the Trades page (hidden by default, turn it on under Columns), the "Tag" filter on Trades and on Stats, and the "Top tags" card on Stats, which lists the six most used tags with their count and net P&L.

An idea is a pattern you have started to notice, for example "they flush the overnight low first, then it runs". It works like a tag on trades, but it keeps stats: trades, win rate, net P&L, average R, the share graded A or B, and when it was last seen. You add trades to it from the review, or select rows on the Trades page and use "Add to idea..." in the bar at the bottom.

• The Ideas page lists every idea with its stats. An idea with 5 or more trades, net above zero and a win rate of 50% or more is marked "worth a setup?", and the insights say "Your idea is holding up".
• Open an idea to see its trades, up to 24 of their screenshots, and the buttons "Turn into a strategy", "Archive" and "Delete". Deleting an idea keeps the trades; only the link goes.
• "Turn into a strategy" creates a strategy with the idea's name and note, so you can add grade criteria and pick it on reviews from then on.
• A name is 80 characters at most, the note 500.

A strategy is a named setup with Setup rules, Risk rules, Notes and Grade criteria: one line per grade, A to F, that shows next to the grade buttons while you review a trade tagged with that strategy. Set it in the Strategy dropdown on the review. Every edit keeps a version snapshot. Archive a strategy to drop it from the dropdown without losing the trades that use it.

Where strategies show: the Strategy column on Trades (on by default), the "Strategy" filter on Trades and Stats with "No strategy set" as an option, and the "By strategy" card on Stats.

• Custom columns on the trade row. The Columns menu only shows and hides the built-in ones.
• Setting a tag, idea or strategy from an import file. The column mapper has no such field; they are set on the review.
• An idea filter on Stats. Ideas have their own pages instead.
• Tags in the insights engine. Insights use mistakes, grades, rule breaks and ideas.
