TradeZella pricing (2026): every plan, what you get, and which one to pick

TradeZella changed its prices in July 2026 and added a third plan. Here's what each plan costs today, monthly and yearly, what you actually get at each level, and how to work out which one you need, or whether you need one at all.

The short version

TradeZella has three plans: Essential at $35 a month, Pro at $59 and Ultra at $99, or $26, $44 and $74 a month if you pay for a year up front. There's no free plan. Essential is limited to one account and has no trade replay, so most active traders end up on Pro. It's good value if you'll use the replay, backtesting and AI. If you mostly want to know what to fix, you're paying for a lot you won't open.

Pay for TradeZella if
  • You'll use trade replay and backtesting every week
  • You want broker sync instead of uploading files
  • You want an AI to write your session reviews
  • $531 a year is easy money for you
Look elsewhere if
  • You're not profitable yet and every subscription hurts
  • You only need one thing: knowing which mistakes cost you most
  • You want rules checked on every trade, not 300 reports
  • You'd rather try a free journal before paying for one

What changed in July 2026

TradeZella's help center says the current prices went live on July 14, 2026, and calls it the first big pricing update since it launched in 2022. The new Ultra plan was added at the top, and the plans were rebuilt around its newer features: Zella AI and AI agents, trade replay and automated AI backtesting.

If you read an older review quoting different prices, that's why. Anything written before mid-July 2026 is out of date.

All three plans include automated journaling and trade imports (broker sync, file upload or manual). The difference is how many accounts you can connect, and how much replay, backtesting and AI you get.

Which plan should you pick?

  • Essential ($26 to $35 a month): you trade one account and want a journal with reports. No trade replay and only one account is a real limit for anyone running a few accounts at once.
  • Pro ($44 to $59 a month): the one most active traders end up on. Several accounts, unlimited replay and backtesting, and the AI agents.
  • Ultra ($74 to $99 a month): only if you'll run a lot of automated AI backtests or need more than 50 accounts. For most traders it's more than they'll use.

The honest test: look at last month. If you didn't replay a single trade or run a backtest, Essential or a free journal is enough. Paying for tools you don't open is the most common way traders overspend on software.

Cancelling and switching plans

You cancel from Settings, under Subscription. According to TradeZella's help center your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for and then doesn't renew. If you've paid for a year, that means you keep it for the rest of the year, but you've also already spent the money, so pay monthly until you're sure.

Actal is the one I built. It doesn't have replay or backtesting. What it does is check every trade against your own rules, grade it on execution, and put a dollar cost on every mistake, so the weekly review tells you exactly what to fix. If that's the part you're missing, you don't need to pay $59 a month to get it.

Who wrote this

I'm Joakim. I trade index futures full time and coach traders at Jusell Trading Academy. Students ask me which journal to pay for all the time, and I'd rather they spend the money on nothing than on tools they won't open. I built Actal, so weigh that, but every TradeZella figure here is from its own site and dated.
