Tradervue review (2026): pricing, the free plan, and who it's for
Tradervue is one of the oldest trading journals around, and it's still one of the most solid. It's also the one I most often see traders outgrow on the free plan within a couple of weeks. Here's what it costs, what you get, and who it suits.
The short version
Tradervue is a good, reliable journal for traders who want solid reports and a mentor looking over their trades, and the free plan is enough if you take a few trades a week. If you day trade, you'll hit the free plan's limit fast and pay $29.95 a month for Silver. If what you need is to stop breaking your rules rather than more reports, Actal grades every trade on your plan and is free while in beta. I built it, so weigh that.
- You swing trade and take a handful of trades a week
- You want a mentor to see your trades
- You want broker sync and solid, proven reports
- You day trade and would hit the free plan's limit
- You want every trade graded on whether you followed your rules
- You want each mistake priced in dollars and one thing to fix a week
- You trade futures evals or forex on MetaTrader
Tradervue pricing

| Silver | $29.95 a month | Unlimited imports and accounts, broker sync, advanced reporting, mentoring |

From Tradervue's pricing page in September 2026. Silver and Gold come with a trial, and you can drop to the free plan instead.
What the free plan really gives you
Tradervue's help pages put the free plan at 30 trades a month. That's about a week and a half for someone who takes three trades a day. For a swing trader it's plenty. For a day trader it's a trial with a limit instead of a clock.
What Tradervue does well
- Reliable imports and broker sync, from a company that's been doing this a long time.
- Unlimited imports and accounts on both paid plans, not capped by tier.
- Mentoring on the paid plans, so a coach can see your trades.
- Gold's exit analysis and max potential P&L show what you left on the table.
Where it falls short
- It looks and feels older than the newer journals.
- Like most journals, it reports what happened. It won't grade whether you followed your plan or tell you which mistake to fix this week.
- The free plan runs out quickly for anyone who day trades.

Questions people ask
Drop in one export. In a minute Actal grades the trades it can, prices the mistakes you tagged, and tells you the first thing to fix. Free during beta, no card.

Full-time index futures trader. Coaches traders one-on-one at Jusell Trading Academy, five students at a time, since 2020. No platform was built for developing traders, so he had his own coaching software built; old students loved it and kept coming back, and Actal is that software turned into a proper journal for what matters.
