Tradervue pricing (2026): Free, Silver and Gold, and which one you need

Tradervue has three plans: a free one capped at 30 trades a month, Silver at $29.95 a month and Gold at $49.95. Here's what you get at each level, what you only get in Gold, and how to tell which one you need, or whether you need one at all.

The short version

Tradervue is free for up to 30 trades a month, then $29.95 a month for Silver or $49.95 for Gold, with a 7-day trial on both paid plans. The free plan is fine if you take a few trades a week. Day traders run through it in a couple of weeks, and two things most traders see as basics, commissions and fees, and risk tracking, are only ticked for Gold. If you want detailed reports on how you execute, Silver is fair value. If what you need is to know which mistakes cost you most, that's $359 to $599 a year for something a free journal can do.

Pay for Tradervue if
  • You take a few trades a week and 30 a month is plenty
  • You want broker sync instead of uploading a file
  • You want a mentor to look over your trades inside the journal
  • You want exit analysis and max potential P&L, and $49.95 a month is fine
Look elsewhere if
  • You day trade and would use up 30 trades in a week or two
  • You want commissions and R on every trade without paying for Gold
  • You want your rules checked on every trade and a dollar cost on each mistake
  • You'd rather try a free journal before paying for one

Gold$49.95$599.40Unlimited

The pricing page only shows monthly prices, so a year is twelve payments. Silver and Gold both start with a 7-day free trial, and Tradervue charges your card when it ends unless you switch to the free plan first.

What the free plan gets you

The free plan, called Basic, lets you import 30 trades a calendar month. According to Tradervue's help center it counts trades, not fills, so scaling in and out doesn't use up the limit. Three trades a day still uses it up in about two weeks.

  • Included: imports from your broker's files, charts with your entries and exits, tags and filters, overview and detailed reports, a dashboard, and sharing trades.
  • Not included: more than one account, screenshots, MFE and MAE, intraday P&L charts, the drill-down and advanced reports, Excel export and mentoring.

One thing to check before relying on it: today's pricing table ticks futures, forex and options for the free plan, but an older help center article says options need Silver or Gold. If you trade options or futures, import a week of trades on the free plan first and see what comes through.

The catch: commissions and risk are only in Gold

On Tradervue's own comparison table, commission and fee support and risk tracking and reporting are ticked for Gold and not for Silver. For a lot of traders those are the basics: net P&L after costs, and results in R so a $200 loss on a $100 risk stands out. If you need either, check that Silver does what you want during the trial, or budget for Gold at $599.40 a year.

Which plan should you pick?

  • Basic (free): you swing trade or take a few trades a week, trade one account and don't need screenshots on your trades.
  • Silver ($29.95 a month): you day trade, run more than one account, want screenshots and MFE and MAE, or want a mentor to see your trades.
  • Gold ($49.95 a month): you want commissions, risk in R and exit analysis inside Tradervue, and the extra $20 a month doesn't matter to you.

The honest test: look at what you did with your last journal. If you never opened anything past the P&L and the win rate, more reports won't change that. What changes results is reviewing each trade and fixing one habit at a time.

Cancelling and switching plans

According to Tradervue's help center you cancel or downgrade under Settings, Plans and Billing, and the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. If you're on a trial, switch to the free plan before it ends or the card is charged.

Actal is the one I built. It doesn't sync with your broker: you upload a file after the session. What you get free during the beta is what Tradervue splits across its plans: unlimited trades and accounts, commissions, R from your stop or risk, MFE and MAE, and screenshots. On top of that, every trade is checked against your own rules and graded on execution, and each mistake gets a dollar cost, so the weekly review tells you exactly what to fix.

Who wrote this

I'm Joakim. I trade index futures full time and coach traders at Jusell Trading Academy. Students ask me which journal to pay for all the time, and I'd rather they spend nothing than pay for reports they won't open. I built Actal, so weigh that, but every Tradervue figure here is from its own site and dated.
