Edgewonk pricing (2026): one plan, $197 a year, and what you get
Edgewonk keeps it simple: one plan, $197 for twelve months, everything included. Here's what that buys you, what it costs with VAT where you live, how the money-back guarantee and renewals work, and the one thing to know before you cancel.
The short version
Edgewonk costs $197 a year, or $230 to $250 with VAT in the EU and UK, and it's one plan with every feature. There's no monthly option and no free trial, but there's a 14-day money-back guarantee. At $16.42 a month it's cheaper than any monthly journal if you use it all year. The catch is that you pay for the year up front, and once you cancel you can't log in to your journal any more.
- You'll keep journaling all year and want one flat price
- You want psychology tools like the Tiltmeter and the weekly edge finder
- You want missed-trade tracking and a trade management optimizer
- One payment a year suits you better than a monthly bill
- You're not sure yet that you'll stick with a journal for a year
- You'd rather not pay twelve months up front before you know you'll use it
- You want your rules checked on every trade and a dollar cost on each mistake
- You'd rather try a free journal before paying for one

Prices are in US dollars and billed every 12 months, with VAT added at checkout in the EU and UK. There's one plan, no monthly option and no free plan.
All figures from Edgewonk's pricing page, checked on 9 October 2026, which lists the price for every EU country. One exception: the page still lists Finland at 24% VAT, but Finland's rate has been 25.5% since September 2024, so the Finnish price above is worked out at 25.5%. Prices change, so check at checkout.
What's included
Edgewonk has no tiers, so everyone gets everything. Per its pricing page that includes:
- Unlimited journals, broker and prop firm accounts, trades and strategies.
- Forex, stocks, futures, crypto, indices, commodities and options.
- Tags and filters, setups and strategies, commissions and fees, mistake tracking, a notebook, image uploads and setup checklists.
- Analysis by time, psychology, a profit calendar, MAE and MFE, performance ratios, drawdowns, losing streaks, risk and trading plans.
- Its own extras: a trade management optimizer, strategy testing, a performance simulator, missed-trade tracking, an edge finder that scans your journal every Sunday, session report cards, the Tiltmeter for rule breaks, and a portfolio page across all your journals.
The money-back guarantee and renewals
There's no free trial. Instead you pay and get a 14-day, 100% money-back guarantee: if it isn't for you, Edgewonk says it refunds every cent, no questions asked. Use those 14 days to import a real month of trades and do a full weekly review, not just click around.
The plan renews every year. Edgewonk's FAQ says it emails you before the renewal with the option to cancel, and its pricing page promises you keep your price for life as long as you stay.
The catch: cancel and you lose the journal
Edgewonk's FAQ says you cancel at the end of your subscription period, and that after you've cancelled you can no longer log in to your journal. So a year of trades, notes and screenshots goes behind the login the day you stop paying. If you might stop, save anything you want to keep before the period ends.
Is $197 a year good value?
| Journal | Cheapest full year | Per month |
|---|---|---|
| Edgewonk | $197 | $16.42 |
| TraderSync Pro, paid yearly | $269.52 | $22.46 |
| TradeZella Essential, paid yearly | $315 | $26.25 |
| Tradervue Silver, monthly only | $359.40 | $29.95 |
| Actal | Free during beta | $0 |
If you journal all year, Edgewonk is the cheapest of the paid journals, and you get every feature without picking a tier. The math turns the other way if you stop: quit after two months and you've paid $98.50 a month. If there's a real chance you'll stop journaling, count that in.

If you want to try before paying
Actal is the one I built, and it's free during the beta with everything included. It's newer and has fewer analysis screens than Edgewonk, and no simulator or strategy tester. What it does is check every trade against your own rules, grade it on execution and put a dollar cost on every mistake, so the weekly review tells you exactly what to fix. If journaling sticks for you, you'll know before you put $197 on anything.
Who wrote this
I'm Joakim. I trade index futures full time and coach traders at Jusell Trading Academy. I'd rather students pay for a journal they'll actually open every week than for the one with the longest feature list. I built Actal, so weigh that, but every Edgewonk figure here is from its own site and dated.
Questions people ask
Drop in one export. In a minute Actal grades the trades it can, prices the mistakes you tagged, and tells you the first thing to fix. Free during beta, no card.

Full-time index futures trader. Coaches traders one-on-one at Jusell Trading Academy, five students at a time, since 2020. No platform was built for developing traders, so he had his own coaching software built; old students loved it and kept coming back, and Actal is that software turned into a proper journal for what matters.
