What does free during the beta mean, and what is lifetime access?
While Actal is in beta, everything is free: every feature, every account, unlimited history, no card and no trial clock. When the paid plan, called Pro, launches, beta users get first dibs on a founder's price locked in for life. Lifetime access is something else: a grant, recorded on your account, that means you never pay. It goes to people whose feedback shaped the product.
What free during the beta means
- Every feature is unlocked: unlimited accounts and history, findings with the cost, weekly focus and execution score, risk rules on every trade, premarket plans, daily and monthly reviews with editable templates, all the stats, chart drawing, PDF export, friends, groups, trade sharing and hidden dollars.
- No card, no trial clock, no feature behind a paywall. Signup asks for a name, an email and a password, nothing more.
- Settings > Plan shows "Your plan: Free" with the same promise. The sidebar says "Free plan" under your name.
- Nothing you logged goes anywhere when the beta ends.
The founder's price
When Pro launches with a price, beta users get first dibs on a founder's price locked in for life, well below what everyone after pays. The price is not announced yet, and no end date for the beta is set. There is no billing in the app today.
Lifetime access
The feedback form says it: "The best feedback wins free lifetime access. Find a real bug, or an idea that makes it into the product, and Pro is yours for life when it launches." A grant is recorded on the account and Settings > Plan then shows "Lifetime access" with the date, and: "Every feature, now and later, with nothing to pay, ever." Only the founder can grant it; nothing in the app lets you grant it to yourself.
How to send feedback
Click Feedback in the sidebar, pick Bug, Idea or Question, give it a title and details, add pictures if they help, and click Send. It lands with the founder and the reply comes back in the same thread, with a badge on Feedback when there is something new.
