Friends and groups: what a friend sees, and hiding dollars and notes

Friendship is mutual and honest by default: when someone accepts your invite link, you see each other's journals, trades, reviews, screenshots, plans, strategies and rules. Per friend you can switch off dollar P&L (they see R and points), review notes and screenshots, or plans, strategies and rules, and limit which accounts they see. A group is the same for several traders, with a chat and a weekly board ranked on execution, not P&L.

Add a friend and set what they see

  1. 1

Click Friends & groups. Under "Invite a friend" click "Create invite link". The link is copied; send it however you like.

  2. 2

When they open it and accept, you are friends both ways. The link is single use.

  3. 3

On their card, under "What <name> sees", switch "Dollar P&L", "Review notes and screenshots" and "Plans, strategies and rules" on or off, and pick the accounts. It saves on its own.

  4. 4

"Open journal" shows theirs. "Remove friend" ends it for both of you after a confirm.

What a friend sees

SwitchOnOff
Dollar P&LNet P&L, gross, commission and the tiles with money.R and points only. The P&L column and the Net P&L tile are gone; rules in dollars read "a dollar amount (hidden)".
Review notes and screenshotsNotes, screenshots with drawings, and the emotional state."Notes hidden by <name>". Screenshots on plans are hidden too.
Plans, strategies and rulesPlan & review, strategies and risk rules tabs."<name> keeps their plans, strategies and rules private."
AccountsAll accounts, or the ones you tick.

Always visible to a friend, whatever the switches: your trades with symbol, side, size, times and R, the grade, execution and day ratings, the strategy name, tags, mistakes and fills. A friend can comment on a trade, and you see the thread on your own trade page. Your card's footer tells you what you see of them.

What friends are told

The bell shows when a friend accepts an invite, comments on your trade, reviews trades, writes a plan, reviews their day, or breaks a rule. Review, plan and rule notifications follow the switches: a friend who cannot see your plans is not told about them, and rule breaks go only to friends allowed to see that account and your rules, once per rule per day. Notifications are in the app only, no email.

Groups

  • Create one under Groups on the Friends page: a name, what it is for, and friends to start it with. Up to 25 members, and you can be in up to 20 groups. Anyone with the group's invite link can join; "New link" kills the old one.
  • Joining a group makes every member a friend, so the friend journal pages work for all of them. "What this group sees of you" is one set of the same three switches and accounts for the whole group; friends outside the group keep their own settings.
  • The weekly board runs Monday to Sunday, scored on reviewed trades: score, change, reviewed, average grade, plan days, rule breaks, streak, and P&L only for members who show dollars. It ranks execution, never P&L.
  • The chat is the front page: messages, replies, and a "+" to share a trade, a premarket plan or a daily review from the last 30 days. "Share to group" on a trade page, a plan or a daily review does the same. A shared plan or review shows in full; a shared trade's dollars follow your group setting.
  • "Leave group": your journal leaves with you. The admin's seat passes to the earliest member; the last member leaving deletes the group. The admin can remove a member.

Public trade cards

"Share this trade" on a trade page makes a card anyone can open without an account: symbol, side and size, P&L or points, R, hold time, grade, mistakes, tags and one screenshot if you include it. "Hide dollars (show points only)" is on by default. Notes are never on a card. Each link is listed with "revoke"; a revoked link says "This trade is no longer shared."
