Reviewing trades

Deleting trades, and what happens to their screenshots

Select the rows on the Trades page and click Delete in the bar at the bottom. The trade, its review, its screenshots and drawings, and any public card of it are removed. Your ideas, tags, strategies, day types and library copies stay. There is no undo, but the same export imports the trade again.

What to do

  1. 1

Open Trades and tick the checkbox on each row, or the header checkbox to select every visible row.

  2. 2

The bar at the bottom says "N selected". Click "Delete".

  3. 3

Confirm: "Delete N trade(s)? This cannot be undone."

  4. 4

The rows are gone. The review queue and the stats update at once.

What is deleted

  • The trade and its review, including the grade, mistakes, tags, notes and ratings.
  • The screenshots on the trade and on its review, both the upload and the flattened copy with your drawing, unless another trade or library entry still points at the same file.
  • Public trade cards made from it. The link then says "This trade is no longer shared." and the card picture is removed.
  • Its links to ideas. The idea itself stays.
  • Its fill records stay in the background so a later fills import can still pair with them.

What stays

  • Tags, mistakes, ideas and strategies you named. They are your lists, not part of a trade.
  • Day types. They belong to the date and market, not the trade.
  • Library entries. "Save to library" keeps its own copy of a screenshot, so deleting the trade later never touches it.
  • Group posts that shared the trade. The post stays, without the trade.
  • Comments friends left on the trade have nowhere to show once the trade is gone.

Importing the trade again

The duplicate check reads the trades you have, so a deleted trade is not remembered. Drop the same export again and it comes back as new. That is the way to fix a trade imported with the wrong timezone, the wrong account or the wrong point value: delete, fix the setting, import again. To move trades between accounts without deleting, select them and use "Move to account..." in the same bar.

Deleting an account

Accounts cannot be deleted from the app, only archived from Settings > Accounts. An archived account drops out of the switcher and the import page, but its trades still count under "All accounts". To remove them, select the account in the switcher before archiving, delete its trades, then archive it.
