TradesViz pricing (2026): Basic, Pro and Platinum, and which one you need
TradesViz has a real free plan and two paid ones: Pro at $19.99 a month and Platinum at $29.99, or a quarter off if you pay for a year. The free plan is generous for stock traders and closed to everyone else. Here's what each plan gets you, what's Platinum only, and the billing rules to know before you start the trial.
The short version
TradesViz is free for stocks with 3,000 executions a month and one account. Everything else, futures, options, forex and crypto, needs Pro at $19.99 a month ($14.99 paid yearly) or Platinum at $29.99 ($22.49 yearly). It's the cheapest of the big journals, and Pro is enough for most traders. Platinum is for the simulators, replay and backtesting. TradesViz says it doesn't refund subscriptions, so cancel inside the 7-day trial if you're unsure.
- You trade stocks and the free plan covers you
- You want broker auto-sync and lots of charts and stats
- You'll use the simulator, replay or backtesting (Platinum)
- You want AI tools in your journal
- You trade futures or forex and want free, with no plan limits
- You run more than 10 accounts on Pro or 20 on Platinum
- You want every trade graded on your own rules, not more stats
- You'd rather not pay before you know you'll keep journaling
TradesViz prices at a glance

| Basic | Free | Free | Free |
| Pro | $19.99 | $14.99 | about $180 |
| Platinum | $29.99 | $22.49 | about $270 |
Paying yearly saves 25%, which TradesViz also calls three months free: about $60 a year on Pro and $90 on Platinum. Pro and Platinum have a 7-day free trial. The site shows prices in your local currency, so from Europe Pro is €17.99 a month or €13.49 paid yearly, and Platinum €25.99 or €19.46.

| Markets | Stocks only | Stocks, options, futures, forex, crypto, CFDs | Same as Pro |
| Broker auto-sync | Yes, for stocks | Yes | Yes |
| AI tools (AI Coach and six others) | No | Yes, 16 AI Coach checks | Yes, 21 checks |

An execution is one fill from your broker, not one trade. If you scale in and out, a single trade can use several. 3,000 a month is still a lot for most stock day traders.
The jump from Pro to Platinum is mostly practice and research tools: the trading simulators, trade replay, backtesting, options flow and a screener. If you won't open those every week, Pro is the plan.
How good is the free plan?
For stock traders it's one of the best free plans around: no card, no expiry, 3,000 executions a month, auto-sync from your broker, a P&L calendar, tags and notes. TradesViz also says your trades are still there if you come back to it later.
The limits are firm, though. It's stocks only, so a futures, options or forex trader can't use it at all, and it's one account. There's no AI and no trading rules on the free plan.
Refunds, the trial and cancelling
- Refunds: the FAQ says TradesViz doesn't refund subscriptions. The terms allow a pro-rated refund at the company's discretion, but only for a problem with the service, with proof, raised within 48 hours. Plan on not getting your money back.
- Trial: you subscribe to start the 7-day trial. The FAQ says you're not charged if you cancel within the 7 days. Set a reminder.
- Cancelling: use the cancel link in the app, or email from your registered address at least 24 hours before the billing date. If you paid with PayPal you may need to cancel inside PayPal too.
- Changing plans: a monthly-to-yearly upgrade is pro-rated. PayPal subscriptions are harder to change than card ones.
Discounts
- Yearly billing: 25% off.
- Referral: 15% off the first bill for the new user, card payments only.
- Veterans: 60% off a yearly plan after a verification check.
- No lifetime deal. TradesViz says that's on purpose.
Which plan should you pick?
- Basic (free): you trade stocks in one account. Start here, it costs nothing.
- Pro ($14.99 to $19.99 a month): you trade futures, options, forex or crypto, or more than one account, and want AI tools and a few trading rules.
- Platinum ($22.49 to $29.99 a month): you'll practise in the simulator, replay trades or backtest every week, or want more than 10 accounts.
The honest test is the same as for any journal: look at what you used last month. If you never opened the simulator, Platinum is paying for practice you don't do.

Actal is the one I built. It has no simulator, no AI and no broker sync: you upload a file after the session. What it does is check every trade against your own rules, grade it on how well you followed your plan and put a dollar cost on every mistake, for futures, forex and stocks, with no account limit, free during the beta. More on TradesViz itself in the TradesViz review.

Questions people ask
Drop in one export. In a minute Actal grades the trades it can, prices the mistakes you tagged, and tells you the first thing to fix. Free during beta, no card.

Full-time index futures trader. Coaches traders one-on-one at Jusell Trading Academy, five students at a time, since 2020. No platform was built for developing traders, so he had his own coaching software built; old students loved it and kept coming back, and Actal is that software turned into a proper journal for what matters.
